Tungsten Halogen Source

All 400 Series instruments incorporate high intensity, tungsten halogen sources. These are G-4 base, 6V/10W sources with a color temperature of 3,150 Kelvin. The electro-optic control circuitry used in all 400 Series spectrophotometers ensures optimal source intensity and several hundred hours of carefree operation. Deuterium Source

All Model 420 and 440 Spectrophotometers incorporate the highest quality deuterium sources. These are high output lamps rated for 4,000 hours of operation. THe deuterium source used in the 400 Series Spectrophotometers are pre-aligned and fitted with a three position connector for easy replacement in your spectrophotometer. When ordering replacement lamps please use the following information.
