The 400 Series spectrophotometers offer both spectroscopy advantages and multiple sample interfacing options for dissolution testing. Whether using a dip probe or flow cell, each fiber optic sampling option is designed for optimal analytical precision and the elimination of contamination.

Dip probes allow for direct measurements of dissolution eliminating the need to transfer sample aliquots for liquid measurements with three distinct flow cell configurations available for pumped flow direct analysis. In situ fiber optic measurement ensures precise sampling position and minimizes hydrodynamic disturbances.

This sampling convenience is complemented by the use of the CCD array spectrophotometer allowing for full wavelength coverage from 190 nm - 980 nm with user programmable acquisition times ranging from milliseconds to minutes or multiple hours if desired.

0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 cm optical path lengths are available dip probe configurations while flow cells can be user adjustable or fixed via the use of quartz sleeve inserts.
