Reflectance probes are ideal for measuring the absorption characteristics of solid surfaces, powdered substrates and some liquids. They incorporate solarization resistant UV transmissive fiber optics allowing wavelength coverage from 190 nm - 980 nm and single source and dual source options are available.

They are extremely valuable for a variety of applications when traditional spectroscopy is simply not feasible such as production lines and process control scenarios. A reflectance probe allows users to perform analyses in real-time and without any sample preparation saving time.
